Josef Dzhugashvili (or Djougachvili) is the most famous citizen of Gori. Never heard ? And "Stalin" ?Gori is the natvie town of this important figure of the European (and World) history. For some people,it's a pilgrimage place, for other, it's a gruesome place. Stalin (the name come from Russian stal which means steel) and he is still - very -popular in Georgia.
