COPPER ORE, BLACK METAL SCARP AND FERROALLOY WERE LARGEST EXPORT ARTICLES IN Q1
As the Statistic Department of Georgia informs, export volume made up $225.2 million in January-March, exceeded last year’s figures by 2%.
The largest share (9.3%) accounts for copper ore and concentrates, the volume of which made up $21 million and 2 times exceeded last year’s figures.
RUSSIA MAINTAINS POSITION OF LARGEST TRADE PARTNER FOR GEORGIA
According to Statistic Department, Russia maintained position of Georgia’s largest trade partner in 1st quarter of 2007. However, its share in Georgian trade turnover has reduced from 19% to 14.3%.

LLC ENERGY INVEST DEMANDS UNITED DISTRIBUTING COMPANY TO PAY 5.24M LARI
As Sarke was told in Tbilisi City Court, LLC Energy Invest has brought an action against United Distributing Company. LLC claims 5.24 million lari, 5.23 million of which is electricity cost and 50,000 lari accounts for state duty.
UP TO 61% OF PREMIUM, ATTRACTED BY AIG GEORGIA IN 2006, ACCOUNTED FOR REINSURANCE
According to the Georgian Insurance Supervision Service, up to 61% of premium, attracted by AIG Georgia, daughter structure of AIG (American Insurance Group) Europe, accounts for reinsurance.
Total premium, attracted by AIG Georgia, made up 1.3 million in 2006.
LLC TERMINALI IN ADLIA ESTIMATED FOR $1M
Economic Development Ministry has brought LLC Terminali at an auction repeatedly. LLC is located in village Adlia, Khelvachauri district of Ajara.
BATUMI RESORT HOSPITAL BROUGHT REPEATEDLY AT AN AUCTION
The Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia accepts till May 31 applications on 99% of JSC Batumi Resort Hospital. The state share (118,790 shares with nominal value 1 lari) is estimated at $1.3 million, instead of $2.4 million, being fixed in September.

According to preliminary information of tax service, the declarations were submitted by 14,404 declarants. It considerably exceeded last year’s showings.

Agency for Enterprise Management informs that bankruptcy regime will be launched in 7 state-run companies. Total account payable makes up 7.78 million lari.
