Rusudan Gorgiladze
Rusudan Gorgiladze trained as a psychologist, and is the author of publications in the fields of psychology, international affairs, culinary history, and culture. Her interests include ethno-psychology, anthropology, and the history and culture of food.
From 1979-1993, she worked as a neuropsychologist in the Central Clinical Hospital in Tbilisi, Georgia.

From 1993-2000, Rusudan Gorgiladze served as Chief Advisor to the President of Georgia, and participated in negotiations with international organizations, including the Council of Europe, the European Union, the World Bank, and others.
Rusudan was a Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University from 1996-1998.
In 2000 she was appointed First Deputy Minister of Education of Georgia and took an active part in reform of the education system.
In 2006, Rusudan was a Consultant at UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP).
From 2007–2010, she was Regional Director of Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) for Europe and a doctoral candidate in psychology at the University of Hildesheim in Germany.
This is her first book on the subject of culinary history. A Georgian language version of this book was
published in Tbilisi in September 2012.
Currently Rusudan Gorgiladze lives with her family in Berlin, Germany.

Kaukasus-Reisen offers from 20 of June until 3 of July 2009 a trip with the focus on the Flora of the Caucasus in various regions of Georgia. A major role on this trip are also historical and cultural aspects, as well as a close contact with the friendly Georgian people and their lifestyle.
