Abkhazia in Georgia

Lake Ritsa, situated in the Caucasus Mountains to the north from Gagra, is regarded as one of most beautiful mountain lakes in the world. In the Soviet times, it was visited by 1,000 tourists daily. The area around the lake has been designated a natural reserve.
