KULTUR: Veranstaltungen im Goethe-Institut in Tbilisi - November 2009 (goethe.de)

Liebe Freunde des Goethe-Instituts,
ich darf Sie auf folgende Veranstaltungen aufmerksam machen und Sie sehr herzlich dazu einladen.
Eröffnung der Ausstellung: 8909 Bewegte Welt – Erzählte Zeit
Zeitgenössische Fotografie und Videokunst aus Russland, der Ukraine, Belarus, Georgien, Kasachstan, Kirgisistan, Usbekistand und Deutschland.

Vortrag: 20 Jahre Mauerfall
mit Günther von Lojewski, ehemaliger Indendant des Senders Freies Berlin (SFB) mit Filmausschnitten aus verschiedenen Fernsehproduktionen
Eine Veranstaltung des GI Georgien in Zusammenarbeit mit dem DAAD

Georgische Kurzfilme: Zeitenwandel 8909
Die beiden georgischen Jungfilmerinnen Salome Jashi und Rusudan Pirveli zeigen ihre neuesten Kurzfilme, die mit Unterstützung des Goethe-Instituts produziert wurden.
Die Filme (THE LEADER IS ALWAYS WRIGHT – STALBERI) werden zum ersten Mal öffentlich aufgeführt. Sie zeigen Tendenzen und Entwicklungen in der georgischen Gesellschaft, die sich auf die dramatischen Ereignisse in den letzten zwanzig Jahren beziehen.

Literatur-Symposium: 8909 in Texten
mit der deutschen Autorin Claudia Rusch (Berlin)
Fünf georgische Autoren (Ana Kordsaia-Samadaschwili, Lascha Bugadse, Shota Jataschwili, Teona Dolenjaschwili, Lewan Beridse) und die deutsche Autorin Claudia Rusch aus Berlin versuchen mit ihren Texten auf eine äußerst bewegte und turbulente Zeit zurückzublicken.
Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung steht nicht so sehr die Lesung des Autors, sondern das Gespräch mit ihm. Das neue Format dieses Symposiums gibt den Besuchern die Möglichkeit intensiv mit den Autoren zu diskutieren.

Das Cafe Goethe bietet Ihnen von Montag bis Freitag von 11.30 – 19.00 ein preiswertes Mittagessen und jederzeit einen Cappucino mit frisch gebackenem Käsekuchen !!!

CALL: Looking For Contemporary Theatre/Dance Projects, Video Artists In Georgia (pat.sk)

Slavka Daubnerova is one of the dramaturgists of the 4th Edition of the international theatre festival Artetherapy in Slovakia and she is looking for contemporary theatre/dance projects, video artists in Georgia, maybe you could help her.
The main theme of the festival is PROTECTED TERRITORY. The aim of this year of the festival, which will take place around Banská Bystrica city in October 2009 is bring to the Slovak culture concept committed and socially actual discussion towards the theatre art from countries which inhabitants suffers or suffered a certain kind of political - war- civil threat, to talk about the need of perception of this kind of themes. The festival will show 15 performances in his main program from countries of Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Turkey, Georgia, Israel, Palestine, Poland, Czech, Hungary and Slovakia and create around them the additional program of discussions, workshops, presentation of the relevant topics and messages which each country brings from its local context and which will support the main topic of the festival - finding the symbols of humanity in the middle of different kind of problems which each country suffers from.
It would be very helpful for her, if the readers here could mention some contacts to contemporary theatre/dance projects, which would be suitable for our festival. Video Art Works to this theme would be also great. Thank you very much!
