The monastery of middle ages, an architectural monument. This is the cross-dome church, a significant center of Georgian culture in Tao. It is located on the left bank of the Khakhulistskali river. Been established by David III Kuropalat, Khakhuli was the strong literary-educational center where Giorgi Mtatsmindeli has taken education.
Doliskana / Tao-Klarjeti

Doliskana was finished in mid 10th century, in times of Sumbat Kuropalat. It is located on the right bank of Imeriskhevi River. Doliskana is a cross-dome church.
