Lilit Amirjanyan
(10/05/59) was born in Artsakh (Karabakh). Graduate of Kh. Abovian Pedagogical Institute's Art Department. Ms. Amirjanyan is one of the leading experts on Armenian miniatures. She is a resident artist of world-famous Matenadaran, Armenia's Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. She has illustrated numerous books, participated in exhibitions of Armenian Christian Cultural Center "Momik" worldwide, and has had several one-man shows. Commissioned by the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America, Ms. Amirjanyan has illustrated the set of exquisite Christmas card featuring the subjects taken from the Bible. She has also decorated two Bibles and hand copied four full Texts. One of these Bibles is the property of Matenadaran, and the other is owned by a private collector.
