Deutsch vermitteln in Georgien? Freiwillligen-Programm der georgischen Regierung für deutschen muttersprachlichen Unterricht an georgischen Schulen!

Georgien sucht deutsche Muttersprachler, die bereit sind, mindestens sechs Monate an einer georgischen Schule die dortigen Deutsch-Lehrkräfte beim Unterrichten zu unterstützen.

Das Programm richtet sich nicht nur an Pädagogen, sondern an alle, die Interesse an einer solchen Hospitanz haben. Mindestvoraussetzung sind Volljährigkeit, Abitur und auch englische Sprachkenntnisse. Georgien übernimmt die Flugkosten, die Unterbringung in einer Gastfamilie, eine einfache Krankenversicherung und zahlt eine Aufwandsentschädigung von umgerechnet ca. 220,- Euro pro Monat.

Das Programm richtete sich ursprünglich an englische Muttersprachler; es wurde nun aber auch für Deutsch geöffnet.

EDUCATION: Teach in Georgia - Complete Guide to Teach English in Georgia (footprintsrecruiting.com)

Teach English in Georgia, a beautiful country that borders the Black Sea, Russia, Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.


Footprints Recruiting has been officially selected as the primary provider of teachers to the Ministry of Education in Georgia. Footprints provides over 100 teachers each month to this Eastern European country.


Although this is considered a volunteer program, English teachers are paid a monthly stipend, enjoy homestay accomodation with a Georgian family, and are provided with free round-trip airfare! Those signing up for longer contracts are also offered one free round trip vacation flight each year during school breaks.


Georgia is a rapidly modernizing country with ancient traditions of hospitality. It is a country of incredible diversity; from glaciers to beaches to the highest mountains in Europe where 40% of the country is covered by forests. Teachers will be able to visit mountain top churches and castles that take them back to a different era. Georgia is a year round travel destination and this exciting program, developed by the government of Georgia, is a great opportunity for all types of teachers.





To encourage Georgian schoolchildren to master the English language is the main goal of the project “Teach and Learn With Georgia”.


Since the start of the program in July 2010 Footprints has helped a great number of teachers sign up for a Georgian adventure! Now, in the winter of 2011, more than a year later, numerous teachers who signed up for a semester are reapplying and extending their contracts while others are returning home with a great cultural and teaching experience to put on their resumes and share with their friends. This commercial, launched by the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science, emphasizes what Georgia is striving for -- advances in technology, language, and infrastructure.

Uebrigens, im Flugzeug nach Tbilissi saßen außer mir insgesamt 4 Georgier... Auf dem Rueckweg fuehlte ich mich im Flughafen, wie auf einer Abschiedsparty voller gluecklich-trauriger, feiernden, braungebrannter, reichlich beschenkten Touristen und Geschaeftsreisenden und deren einheimischen Begleitern. Die Komunikationssprache war GEORGISCH Viele liebe Gruese und bis gleich, gleich im Unterricht!!
