Photos from Azerbaijan

A bit of a lucky combination. Not sitting over any wing; plane banking at the right moment and exceptionally clear conditions. The Sehénd range sits in the foreground while Savalan is in the far distance, on the horizon. The area is a meeting point of several tectonic plates and all of these mountains are (extinct) volcanoes.

At approximately 4600m, with some way to go yet to the summit.
