Igor Palmin was born in 1933 in Stalingrad. Started studying geology in Voronezh University in 1955. From 1958 to 1964 studies photography in Moscow Cinematographic Institute and works as a cameraman for TV and popular science cinema. In 1966 started a series of portraits of non-conformist artists. Professional photographer since 1972. Works mostly in architectural photography since 1980.
