(lalettredelaphotographie.com) The world of Natela Grigalashvili, a Georgian photographer, is the village of her birth. There, she learned her native Georgian, a language which she uses to infuse this unique series of pictures. Dawn, sky, "jigari" ("innards"), "sheni chiri me" ("I love you so much, you are so dear to me that I want to shoulder your woes"). Her images, like the words that name them, are full of irony, humour and tenderness. The exhibition is a pastoral symphony that gives visual language to the legendary Georgian alphabet.
