A double-knotted figurative carpet, made about 60 years ago in Karabakh, in the Caucasian Mountains. 100% handspun wool using vegetable dyes; this type of wool is particularly resistant. The design is a traditional scene with borderwith expert workmanship and a very subtle use of colours and abrash. The condition is excellent since it was made for a dowry and little used after the wedding.
SIZE: 80 cm x 140 cm
