She said the semi-documentary film about the Mahammad Asad Bey’s life and activity has been produced by Umweltfilm Berlin for more than 5 years. “The film was made in Germany, Austria, Italy, Azerbaijan and Georgia and sponsored by Germany, Italy and Austria”.

Ateshi said there was no discord over the Mahammad Asad Bey’s life. “There is no doubt that Mahammas Asad Bey was Kurban Said all over the world, but discords remain in Azerbaijan only. Certain people in Azerbaijan are tackling restoration of Kurban Said’s rights trying to allege his novel “Ali and Nino” to Yusif Vezir Chemenzeminli. We need to end all these discords. The film unveils all facts and archive documents”.

Ateshi said she was playing a leading role in the film as a researcher of Asad Bey’s works. “I brought this film to Azerbaijan that people and the state to know it and to know Mahammad Asad Bey, the world-known son of Azerbaijan. It will cause the extension of Azerbaijan’s image in Germany and entire Europe”.

Ateshi asked the Azerbaijani televisions to show the film. “The film is in Germany, but was synchronized in English in Tbilisi. It will be better to translate it to Azerbaijani and Russian and to show on the Azerbaijani televisions to introduce the Azerbaijan’s great son to the people”. Ateshi said the televisions intended to show the film could address her, because Germany-based Nizami Ganjavi Culture Institute has a 7-year right of broadcasting the film in CIS countries.
