Magdalena Fricheva appointed ICR Caucasus project director
Magdalena Fricheva has been appointed director of the Caucasus Project of the International Crisis Group. Fricheva is of Czechian origin and considered important specialists on conflicts in the Caucasus, Vugar Gojayev, representative of the International Crisis Group in Baku told the APA. The new director will take up her duties in late February-early March. The previous director of the project Sabina Freizer has been serving as director of ICR Europe Program since February 1. She deals with EU member states, Turkey, Balkan, South Caucasus and Western CIS countries. Sabina Freizer led the Caucasus Project for 2 years 6 months and drew up two reports on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan within this period. /APA /
