This exhibition will showcase a selection of photographs, notebooks and published work by John F. Baddeley (1854–1940). After visiting Russia for seven months in 1879, Baddeley became the St. Petersburg correspondent for the (London) Standard and began a life-long relationship with the Caucasus region, travelling widely and writing important books on its history.
